Reform UK’s Ben Habib Throws Gauntlet at Failed Conservative Government: ‘it’s time for Reform’

Ben Habib’s War Cry Against the Tories

Reform UK’s Ben Habib has launched a scathing attack on the Conservative government, calling it a failure and saying that something needs to change.

Speaking on LBC, Habib said that he has thrown his hat in the ring to stand as a political candidate under Reform UK in the hope that it causes maximum damage to the Conservatives.

Habib, who is the former Brexit Party MEP, has been a vocal critic of the Conservative government’s handling of Brexit and other issues.

He argued that the government has failed to deliver on its promises and that the country needs a change.

“What you can’t do is reward failure with incumbency. And we’ve had 13 years of what I would regard as utterly failed Conservative government,” Habib said during the interview.

Habib’s comments come at a time when the Conservative government is facing mounting criticism over its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, the economic fallout from Brexit, and its failure to deliver on key policy promises.

Reform UK, formerly known as the Brexit Party, was founded by Nigel Farage in 2019 with the aim of campaigning for a clean break from the European Union.

Since then, the party has broadened its platform to include issues such as immigration, crime, and free speech.

Habib’s decision to stand as a candidate for Reform UK could prove to be a significant challenge for the Conservatives.

The party has already gained a significant following among disillusioned Conservative voters, and Habib’s high-profile criticism of the government is likely to resonate with many of them.

It remains to be seen whether Reform UK will be able to make a significant impact in the next general election, but with figures like Habib on board, it certainly has the potential to cause some major upsets.
